Whitewater rafting on the Neretva – An adventure in the heart of Herzegovina

Experience the ultimate adventure on the emerald green Neretva River, the jewel of Herzegovina. With a length of over 100 kilometers, the Neretva flows from its source to the Adriatic Sea and offers some of the most exciting rafting experiences in Europe in the upper canyon. Our modernly equipped teams are ready to take both beginners and experienced rafters on an unforgettable whitewater adventure.

The tour takes you through deep canyon walls, past endemic flora and fauna, and amidst a wild and untouched landscape that only the Neretva can offer. During late summer, the water is calmer, giving you ample opportunity to fully enjoy the impressive nature and uniqueness of the canyon. Neretva rafting is a highlight of many trips to Bosnia and the Western Balkans.

• Difficulty: Class II-IV (low to high)

• Departure time: 10:00 from Konjic

Meeting point: If you arrive by car:

Drive towards Mostar and Konjic. When you arrive in Konjic, turn left at the first traffic light. On your left you will see a mosque. Turn left again here. Follow the sign to the restaurant “Vidikovac” (viewpoint). Park your car and walk down to the hotel where your host Samir Krivić from Rafting Europe will be waiting for you.

If you arrive by bus:

Take the bus (Sarajevo-Mostar) from the main bus station in Sarajevo at 08:45 or 09:00 and head to Konjic. You should arrive at the bus stop in Konjic no later than 10:00. There our partner Samir Krivić from Rafting Europe will be waiting for you and will take care of all further details. After rafting and lunch you will be taken back to the bus stop so you can return to Sarajevo. The meeting point, Vidikovac restaurant, must be reached by 10:00.
