Discover the natural beauty and history of Central Bosnia on this guided tour. After pickup from your hotel, the journey to Jajce begins. Pass through the Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian and Yugoslavian parts of the city to get a sense of how the city of Sarajevo developed.
Upon arrival in Jajce, immerse yourself in the rich historical atmosphere of the town and visit a variety of national monuments. Visit an underground catacomb where the noble Hrvatnić family is buried before heading back to the citadel above ground where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Later, continue to Jajce Waterfall and marvel at the beauty of this 21-meter-high natural phenomenon that connects two rivers. Visit the cluster of historic watermills nearby and even purchase freshly ground flour from one of the still-working mills. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the final stop.
Finally, you will arrive in the 15th century old town of Travnik. Admire the two imposing clock towers in the town centre and visit the Travnik Fortress, once used by Ottoman viziers (governors) as their seat of power. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sarajevo.
