Once you've explored Sarajevo, you're ready for our most popular one-day adventure. The Herzegovina tour takes you to the four jewels of the region: Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj and Kravice Waterfalls. We start early to enjoy the morning sun. Even though there is no highway to Mostar, the drive through the Neretva Gorge offers breathtaking views.
Depending on guests' preferences, we may visit the furthest destination, Kravice Waterfalls, first. If you're traveling in summer, bring a swimsuit to enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake beneath the falls. On the return trip, we explore the medieval town of Počitelj, followed by Blagaj with its powerful source of the Buna River. For lunch, we recommend dining by the tranquil waters in Blagaj, especially if you like fish. Other great lunch options include Mostar or Jablanica, known for their exquisite lamb dishes along the main street.
Our last stop is Mostar, where the Old Town and Old Bridge offer impressive UNESCO World Heritage views. During the trip, you will pass through notable towns such as Konjic, known for Lake Boračko, rafting on the Neretva and Tito's Bunker, and Jablanica, known for the Battle of Neretva in WWII. After an enriching day, you can relax and possibly take a nap on the way back. We return to Sarajevo in about 2.5 hours.
