This offer includes a tour of the museum complex "Battle of the Wounded on the Neretva". Near the symbolic destroyed bridge that symbolizes this battle and is the most important exhibit, is the Museum "Battle of the Wounded on the Neretva", which was opened on November 12, 1978, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Battle of the Neretva. The architects of the museum are Branko Tadić, Zdravko Dundjerovic and Mustafa Ramic from Sarajevo. The total area of the museum is 3312 square meters. Within the museum complex, in addition to the exhibition area on the "Battle of the Neretva", there are also exhibitions of the 4th Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Jablanica Ethnographic House.
In addition to the exhibition space, the museum building includes a lobby and a small hall for occasional indoor events, a large hall with 500 seats and a library with a reading room. Since February 22, 1984, the city library has been housed in the Museum of the Battle of the Wounded on the Neretva. The library has more than 10,000 books. Since its opening, the museum has been visited by over 3 million visitors. The main event marking the 65th anniversary took place on April 26, 2008 and was attended by over 3,000 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia.
